Please let me know what you enjoy when you take breaks from studying.
Taking a mental break
After a practice test or when you finish studying a chapter take even 5 minutes to close your eyes and relax and reward your self for even the small accomplishments as these add up over time!
Taking time for physical exercise
You don't have to spend hours in the gym the week before test day but taking a break to walk and get a coffee can be such a powerful motivator! Refreshing the body also refreshes the mind to help you focus when you get back to studying.
Treat yourself!
When you succeed in achieving a goal, be it a big one or a small one, make sure to pat yourself on the back.
Always take time for mini-breaks for snacks and refreshments and after a long day of studying reward yourself with the night off once in a while!
Think positively
Positive thinking is a major factor in success. So instead of mulling over things that didn’t go quite right, remind yourself of things that did. It's important to study the answers you got wrong but make sure to acknowledge yourself on the questions you got right!
